What is your shipping policy?

Sorry, we do not ship either domestically or internationally.

Do you ship to retail customers?

No, not at this time.

How do I order wholesale?

We are not taking wholesale orders

Can I come cut my own flowers at the farm?

You are welcome to purchase bunches of freshly cut peonies at the farm. However, as we are a working farm, we cannot allow visitors into the flower beds to cut their own.

Do you have a bathroom?

Yes, there is a clean port-a-john. 

May I bring my dog on a leash?

Sorry, for the health and safety of our visitors, workers and plants, we cannot allow pets, on or off leash.

May we play ball?

Sorry, no ball playing to avoid plant damage and for the safety of our workers and visitors.  

May we picnic at the farm?

Sorry no picnicking or even sitting in chairs, on blankets or setting up a tailgate picnic. We are a working farm and need to be able to get around. 

Do you have any drinks?

We do not sell drinks. If you bring a drink please be sure to take the bottle or can with you when you leave.  Bottles and cans are dangerous for our workers. Please do not leave litter of any kind.  

Can I take pictures?

Yes, visitors may take some pictures, but a visit to take pictures is an amateur photographer’s visit and requires a ticket.  Professional photographers also require a separate ticket. Please see ‘Photographers’.

May I post pictures on social media?

Yes, you may, but please do not include the faces of any of the farmworkers. Please give Long Valley Peonies credit in your post. @longvalleypeonies

May I buy peonies on the farm?

Yes, we sell bunches of 10 flowers, either mixed colors or one color. We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle and PayPal, if they can be verified on a cell phone. $35 for a bunch of 10, except for certain special varieties. Please see ‘Farmstand’.

Do you make custom bunches?

Sorry, we cannot accommodate custom bunches.


How do I care for my peonies?

Please see ‘Cut Peony Care’ section.

What is the powder that comes with the peonies?

It is floral preservative or floral food. It prolongs the life of the blooms.  Please follow the instructions on the sachet. Keep floral preservative out of the reach of children.
